I bought this for tactical games, I was just using an old OTV and I realized I needed better gear. I’m 5’7” athletic female with about a 36” chest. I tightened the medium all the way down and it fits perfect. Naked w/plates it weighs 10.2lbs. I’ve been in the gym with it doing sit ups, bends, in and outs, box jumps, and jogging, this plate carrier is comfortable and stays in position. If I had to wear it for work I would probably upgrade to the K Zero, the shoulders on the sub zero are no nonsense, no frills. I bought two FirstSpear Tubes and I absolutely love how it made the plate carrier even more streamlined.

Although I have not really trained in it yet, so far so love the SubZero. Mostly easy to set up, velcro feels strong, stitches look solid and thought out. I was confused about the plate retaining strap inside the armor sleeve but figured it out quickly. I equipped a Pincer placard and can’t wait to run some drills in it

Wanted a lighter, more comfortable, less restrictive PC for classes and competitions. Have been using a Banshee for a while, and then the new 5.11, and while I’ve been told there is no such thing as a truly comfortable carrier,( some just suck less, so learn to embrace the suck), I looked forward to the SubZero.
I installed my Hesco M210s, and the triple mag placard with drop pockets in the front, and an extra mag pouch on the right lower side, and double pistol mag pouch on the lower left, (I shoot rifles as a lefty, and pistols righty). With the quick release gizmo on the front right side of the cummerbund, it’s the easiest PC I’ve tried to put on, and fits my 5’9”, 170 body perfectly.
It actually is comfortable with the present load. I may look to add some rear storage in the future, and I would like to ask if there is any way to add a quick release gizmo to the front right shoulder strap.
After one night at the range, I’m loving this kit, and would recommend it highly.

I absolutely love it I've used it a few times on shift now and it's even comfortable to work out in 10/10 and the built in mag pouches on the cumberbund are perfect for my radio and spare quick access med supplys
