While most other chest rigs rely on backward adjustments that are annoying and difficult to fine tune. The Reaper Rig features a forward adjustment system, allowing for quick, easy and precise adjustments on the fly.
Additionally, the rig supports quick-detach buckles or FirstSpear Tubes, making it easy to don or doff your setup. It also includes a cable management kit and an integrated map pocket, perfect for keeping essential documents or small items easily accessible.

Super lightweight, very well made, and comfortable to wear. I didn’t get the warfighter wings because I wanted a simple minimalist set up and the reaper rig definitely fits the bill. I loaded it up with full magazines and all my accessories and the way the shoulder straps are designed keeps it in place. I can’t wait to break it in at the range this weekend.
I just received the Reaper Rig with the war fighter expansion kit and had a few thoughts and product recommendations
• Overall very good quality and config
• The setup is a bit complex to setup with the different loops and the way things integrate, but workable.
• I love the pincer placard and rigid mag pouch top for reindexing. However some thoughts on rifle and pistol pouches
• The rifle pouch pocket gets progressively more narrow which allows for great retention but it is was hard to judge how far to jam them in. All the way and it is VERY difficult to remove, but not far enough and could be a risk of falling out. So I found myself experimenting with how far to push when reindexing. Suggestion: alter inner pouch to have Kydex like plastic insert (similar to M2 inserts from Haley Strategic). This would allow for consistent reindexing with that satisfying “click” and eliminate this issue. This feature, along with the rigid mag top, would make this the premier mag pouch in my view.
• Pistol mag has that funky tab that you can pull over for retention if inserted with loop. Without that tab on the inside of the pistol mag retention was too weak. But I don’t like having to pull the tab over. My solution was to insert the tab, which creates enough tension against the pistol mag itself for good retention but to fold the top to the side and avoid having to pull the tab to draw the mag. I think I’m just going to Leave the inside portion that sits against the mag and cut the top off (that would normally fold over the mag)
• The hybrid H / X harness is nice across the shoulders and feels great. I like the war wings expansion setup, but found getting the sizing all right took some time.
• One thing I didn’t like was the difficulty in donning / doffing (more the donning part). With a standard H harness it’s very easy to toss overhead and get going. For example, tossing over plate carrier. The reaper harness is not as quick. I found myself putting my arm and neck through but having to fish behind my back to grab the quick release part of the war wings and then snap that in. Not a big deal, but that strap got twisted often and I had to start over. Not the end of the world but something to consider if you need to move quick and get the right on FAST.
Overall I love it and will definitely add it to my mission set gear. I’ve included pictures for reference including g comparison to the Haley strategic cheat rig for the M2 insert recommendation (last 2 pics)

very solid rig. comfortable harness. perfect compliment to my sub zero and my magnetix belt. now i just need magazine pockets in quantities that suit my missions
