While most other chest rigs rely on backward adjustments that are annoying and difficult to fine tune. The Reaper Rig features a forward adjustment system, allowing for quick, easy and precise adjustments on the fly.

Additionally, the rig supports quick-detach buckles or FirstSpear Tubes, making it easy to don or doff your setup. It also includes a cable management kit and an integrated map pocket, perfect for keeping essential documents or small items easily accessible.

Awesome piece of equipment

I just got it. I am a combat medic in Massachusetts Army Guard with an infantry battalion. My plan is use this piece of equipment is a tactical piece when treating casualties having different pouches with medical supplies and my weapon magazines for a tactical situations. Great piece of equipment!

A very nice sturdy well priced rig. The chest rig is extremely comfortable compared to others around the same price range. Needless to say you get more than you pay for.

Solid good quality product

I am kitting it out for hunting. Would be nice to see a case for binoculars that could be integrated within the rig. The attention to detail and solid construction are noted.

Almost perfect

The pros: super comfortable, with our without the Warfighter Wings. The weight distribution is stellar. The harness is also sturdy and the whole rig can take a beating. The forward adjustment system is great when wearing the chest rig over a slick armour/plate carrier; I just adjust those instead of the rear strap when switching from armour to no armour and it works wonders.

Speaking of plate carrier; with the Warfighter Wings, the reaper rig feels like a plate carrier without the plates (in a good way) if that makes sense. The 1-2-3 adjustment system on the harness can be opened up completely which helps when removing the rig during first aid to get to the thorax.

The cons: Mostly has to do with the Warfighter Wings and not the actual rig itself. The Duraflex Quick Release System works wonders, but only one is included. I asked customer support if I could buy another set and they kindly explained that it’s not something they’re offering at the moment. I bought one from another retailer and installed it and honestly, it’s an improvement. It prevents entanglement when the rear strap is done up all the way, simplifies removing the rig and moves the Warfighter wings slightly more towards the side of your body, enhancing weight distribution. Also, symmetry which is really important, according to my wife’s boyfriend.

I love the HX harness but I wish could remove it completely so I could wear the rig itself as a placard on my plate carrier. The big admin/map pouch is excellent and I’d love to have it on my plate carrier. As of now, I just wear the whole thing over my plate carrier which works. All in all - a great, sturdy rig with great adjustment systems.
