Senior Pattern Maker - Tactical Apparel
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Pattern Maker specializing in tactical apparel to join our dynamic development team. Key Responsibilities

Develop and create precise patterns for tactical apparel, adhering strictly to design and functional requirements.

Perform size grading and necessary adjustments to ensure optimal fit and comfort.

Sew initial prototypes (first samples) with exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Execute corrections and modifications to patterns and samples based on feedback and fitting sessions.

Collaborate closely with design and production teams to ensure a seamless transition from development to manufacturing.

Work with the fashion designer and the R&D department to ensure optimal compatibility between the apparel and the company's existing gear.

Conduct quality control on all patterns and prototypes.

Maintain meticulous documentation and technical files for all patterns and products.
Requirements

10+ years of experience in pattern making, with a strong emphasis on tactical, workwear, or high-performance functional apparel.

Proven expertise in flat pattern drafting, draping techniques, and garment construction methodologies.

Full proficiency in computerized pattern-making software (e.g., Optitex, Gerber, Lectra, or similar).

Experience with 3D pattern-making technologies and virtual prototyping ( Clo3D, Browzwear)

Demonstrated ability to sew high-quality initial prototypes.

In-depth understanding of body mechanics, sizing, and wear comfort specific to tactical garments.

Extensive knowledge of fabrics, materials, and components used in tactical apparel (e.g., durable fabrics, meshes, zippers, hook-and-loop fasteners, etc.).

Familiarity with relevant quality standards in the textile industry.

Exceptional precision, thoroughness, and meticulousness.

Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with design and development teams.
