We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day accounting operations for our US and Israeli entities, reporting directly to the controller.

In this role, you will oversee financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal processes.

The ideal candidate will have experience with both US and Israeli bookkeeping standards, be comfortable working with outsourced accountants, and thrive in a fast-paced, multi-company environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records for US and Israeli entities in compliance with local GAAP and tax regulations
  • Record transactions, including AP, AR and journal entries
  • Reconcile bank and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Manage travel expenses reports and employee reimbursements
  • Oversee accruals, prepaid expenses and intercompany reconciliations
  • Handle multi-currency transactions and ensure seamless financial tracking
  • Prepare documentation for VAT (Israel) and sales tax (US) and assist with tax filings
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
  • Maintain accurate fixed asset records including depreciation schedules

Requirements:

  • Certified Bookkeeper (Level 2/3) qualification
  • 4+ years of experience in bookkeeping, with exposure to both US and Israeli accounting
  • Strong understanding of Israeli VAT and tax compliance and familiarity with US sales tax regulations
  • Experience working in a multi-currency environment with AR, AP, and reconciliations
  • Proficiency in NetSuite system - a must
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Hebrew - a must
  • Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to work independently across multiple companies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across global teams
  • Proficiency in Excel (a plus)
